BAD WILLOW

Saturday 14th September BBC Introducing

Who’s This “Bad Willow” Band Then?
Listening to Bad Willow is like taking a day trip to an amusement park. Every song is a different ride and you never know where it’s going to go.

Formed in 2021 by Charlotte Juniper and Harrison Rhode, Bad Willow started off as a duo playing the pub scene. Their original music started to gain attention leading to them wanting to form a full band to fill out their sound. In stepped Tom Saunders on Bass and Luke “Beanz” Hynes on Drums.

Now armed as a 4 piece Alt Rock band, Bad Willow started travelling around the country playing prestigious music venues such as the Exeter Phoenix, to reach new audiences.

They quickly became known as a great live act able to engage audiences with their unique genre bending songs and energetic stage presence. Their music is a mix of Rock, Funk, Punk, Grunge and Pop with each song sounding completely different to the last and yet able to blend together simultaneously with their characteristic trademark writing style.

One standout highlight for Bad Willow is supporting the iconic 90s band Space when they wowed audiences at The Palladium Club in Bideford.

InDMusic- “For fans of alternative rock with a twist, Bad Willow is a must listen. With their unique sound and captivating compositions, they are sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners everywhere.”

After gigging tirelessly throughout the summer Bad Willow are excited to get back in the studio to record their debut EP. Their goal in 2024 is to launch their first UK tour as well as become a fixed name on the festival scene.
