In the last two years, Bristol’s Dreamwave have sold out various headline tours in the UK & EU, and performed at festivals including Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Supersonic’s Block Party (FR), Left of the Dial (NL), Dot2Dot & Simple Things. Fresh from a sold out show at The Garage in London supporting Frankie & The Witch Fingers, the band’s latest EP ‘Drifter’ (via Stolen Body Records) is set to be their most expensive yet – And the band’s third EP since 2024.
The effort sees a double down on their exploration into ‘Neo-Pyschedelia’; usually pushing and pulling between Garage-Rock and Dream-Pop.
The band has received international press coverage over recent releases including; multiple plays on BBC 6 Music, (including Craig Charles), NME, Radio X, Absolute Radio, and has earned a fan in Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) – who added them to his playlist ‘Danger Mouse Juke Box’. They have also shared stages with Radio Free Alice, The Bug Club, Wine Lips, The Limiñanas, Night Beats, Ghostwoman & Wombo.
